Silver River Vineyards is a small, family owned estate winery in Paso Robles and a growing multigenerational family endeavor. Led by Cal Poly faculty turned growers and winemakers, shaped by years of work and travel around the world across many fields, and supported by the next generation, we bring together science, sustainability, creativity, and hands on craftsmanship to produce wines that are authentic expressions of place and season.
More than a winery, Silver River is an experience driven destination where wine, learning, art, and curiosity come together. Whether you are discovering Paso Robles for the first time or deepening your appreciation for wine, we invite you to slow down, explore, and enjoy honest wines made with care, intention, and a spirit of lifelong learning.
Directions: Conveniently located off US 101. From South Exit 239A (Mission St). From North take Exit 241A (Mission St).
From Mission St. turn onto River Road.
DIRECTIONS: The best route to the vineyard from North River Road is via Mission Lane, then Darrellona Avenue, and then Magdalena Drive (8658 Magdalena Dr). It is a short drive and just a few minutes from 101.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please AVOID taking Magdalena Drive from River Road, since that section of the road is currently quite bumpy due to limited county maintenance. (Apple, Waze, Google maps will automatically route you by default through Magdalena Drive from River Road - avoid).

Silver River Vineyards takes its name from the ancient “Silver River” of the night sky, a poetic name for the Milky Way, and the nearby Salinas River, whose pale sandy riverbed shimmers silver in the California light, together reflecting the connection between land and sky that inspires our wines and our sense of place.
Silver River Vineyards is also home to Silent Service Wines, our parallel label honoring the men and women of the United States submarine force, those who serve beneath the sea, and the families whose quiet strength stands behind them.
We are committed to giving back by supporting organizations such as the Dolphin Scholarship Foundation and the submarine families they serve.
